Runway Rehabilitation
These federally funded projects are the first of two stages of construction to reconstruct, extend and provide drainage at the runway to accommodate Group VI aircraft. This years projects include improvements to the eastern portion of the runway and connecting taxiways to include widening, upgrading the structural section, repaving, and replacing and upgrading the runway subsurface drainage system. The project will also relocate the VASI and RVR and supporting utilities.
