Runway 13/31 Reconstruction and Extension
Furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for the Runway 3 Extension and Taxiway Improvements project at the Manhattan Regional Airport. All works will be conducted at the Manhattan Regional Airport located approximately 3 miles southwest of the City along K-18.
The Contract will consist of a Base Bid and a Bid Alternate. The Base Bid consists of the reconstruction of Runway 13/31 to 3,800 feet long by 75 feet wide. The Bid Alternate extends Runway 13/31 by 1,200 feet for a total runway size of 5,000 feet long by 75 feet wide.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project at 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Manhattan Regional Airport and followed by a site visit.
Contract Time:
The owner has established a contract performance time of 130 calendar days for Base Bid and Bid Alternate from the date of the Owner-issued written Notice to Proceed. All project work shall be substantially completed within the stated timeframe. This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed within the project manual.
