This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued in accordance with FAR Parts 13 and 36. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District has a requirement the sealing of six machinery house roofs to prevent water from entering the buildings at Maxwell Dam. The work covered consists of providing all equipment, materials, and labor for cleaning, preparing, priming, coating, and waste removal. The buildings are located at the top of the Maxwell Dam located at 142 Maxwell Locks and Dams, East Millsboro, PA 15433. The site of the work may be reached from state and local roads and streets.

This procurement is Firm Fixed Price and is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $16.5M. The period of performance for the contract is 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate.


The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $25,000 and $100,000.
