Sealed proposals for the construction of airport improvements at the Roy Hurd Memorial Airport need to be addressed and delivered to Mr. David Mills, City Manager, 112 West 2nd Street, Monahans, Texas 79756. Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on December 3, 2009, then publicly opened and read. Any proposal received after closing time will be returned unopened.
In general, the Aviation Construction work consists of installing a thermoplastic coal tar emulsion slurry seal after completing crack sealing operations over airfield pavements and marking and striping of all airfield pavements, constructing a concrete fuel apron, installation of a RW 12 PAPI-2 system, replacement/refurbishment of the existing airport rotating beacon, sign panel replacement and other miscellaneous items at the Roy Hurd Memorial Airport. EOPC: $602,364.00.
