Route Construction
This project involves the construction of
approximately 1,240 meters of roadway widening. The widening shall consist of improving both eastbound and westbound lanes. The project will also include the reconstruction of approximately 700 meters
of Route. The project will include the construction of a new 38 meter long bridge over the CSX railroad. The project will also construct left and right turn lanes in certain areas. The project includes construction of approximately 500 meters of new 600mm (24) DI Sanitary sewer force main, 420
meters of 250 mm (10) sanitary sewer pipe (and other sanitary sewer adjustments), and 900 meters of 300 mm (12) DI water main with appurtenances. The project includes construction of one traffic signal. The work will include clearing, grading, asphalt paving, drainage structures, stormwater management facilities, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, and other items necessary for the completion of the work.
