Roof Replacement
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING TO BE HELD ON: 2 Opportunities

The work includes:
A. Removal of: existing roofing systems down to decking
B. Provide dumpster and properly dispose of all debris
C. Preparation of decking for new roofing systems
D. Installation of New Timberline Prestique Lifetime Shingles by GAF-Elk on main roofs.
E. Installation of new GAF Ridge Vent System on main roofs.
F. Removal of existing aluminum / vinyl soffit and wood soffit and installation of new perforated soffit
system to equalize air flow at ridge vent in accordance with GAF installation manual. (Enclosed
G. Removal of existing and installation of a pre-fabricated 3 wide .020 gauge (Color to be selected by
Agency) painted aluminum drip edge on all outer edges of the roof.
H. Removal of existing Attic fan and shutter system. Proper termination of all electrical. Framing,
sheathing and re-side area to match (as best possible) existing.
I. Removal of all gutters and replace with .032 gage seamless aluminum gutters and new leaders as
per manufacturers specifications. (Color to be selected by Agency);
J. Installation by a contractor with at least 10 years experience in the installation of residential roofing.
K. Contractor to provide Agency with a GAF-ELK Smart Choice Lifetime Warranty for materials and
labor.
