Sealed bids will be received and date/time stamped by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 West 45th Street, Bldg. 633, Austin, Texas 78751, Telephone: (512) 206-5880 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008, for Project No. 08-006-HHS, Roof Repair/Replacement Multiple Buildings, Austin State Hospital, Austin, Texas. The Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room 149.
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Austin State Hospital, 4110 Guadalupe, Bldg. 627, Maintenance Conference Room, phone (512) 419-2371. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
Bid Documents will be available Monday, March 17, 2008, from Amtech Building Sciences, Inc., 12710 Research Blvd., Suite 250, Austin, TX 78759, (512) 258-1661. A $75.00 plan deposit is required. Work consists of replacing roofs on buildings 622 (A & B), 633, 634 and 636, and install canopy on building 555 at Austin State Hospital. Bids will be received in accordance with State procedures.
