Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for rodent removal, cleaning and restoration work at the Tony Grove Ranger Station located on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. The project will consist of selective demolition and repair of a historic guard station in Logan Canyon for the Forest Service. Work shall include cleaning and disposal of extraneous items in the building. Removal and disposal of rodent waste and debris in attic walls and crawl space. Removal and disposal of bead board wallboard and ceiling board. Chinking and daubing of interior and exterior log surfaces. Removal and replace foundation skirting and seal from rodent entry. Remove, clean and paint all exterior soffit, fascia and crown molding. Completely remove all resident rodents and seal building from future rodent entry. Due to the sites listing on the National Register of Historic Places, the successful contractor must be have experience with and adhere to the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, supplies, supervision and transportation necessary to perform the contract.

This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Quotes. The approximate start work date will be June 2018. Quotes are due at 1:00 pm, Monday, May 7, 2018. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.


The solicitation will be available on approximately April 6, 2018 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
