Roche Diagnostics MagNa Pure Compact RNA Isolation Kit BPA
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12 will be used.
The solicitation number is 36722. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is unrestricted.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award one or more firm-fixed price blanket purchase agreements (BPA) resulting from this solicitation.
Please see attached Schedule of Supplies/Services. Offerors are to provide a quote for the base year and option year periods for the product on line item numbers 0001 and 1001, and associated freight charges (if any) on line item numbers 0002 and 1002. The Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA. The placement of orders IS NOT GUARANTEED. The total aggregate value of this BPA is not to exceed $250,000.00.

The exact brand name item specified in the Schedule of Supplies/Services is the only item acceptable for this requirement. The Roche Diagnostics MagNa Pure Compact RNA Isolation Kit is the only product that can be used for RNA extraction on our existing laboratory instrument, the MagNa Pure Compact System.
