The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in Florida is soliciting offers for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for road maintenance on various Forest Service system roads within the boundaries of the Ocala National Forest. The anticipated IDIQ contract is for a base year and four (4) option years. Contract awards will be based on "Best Value" to the Government. Evaluation factors include past performance, experience, and price. The contractor will perform specified road maintenance on Forest System Roads in accordance with the Statement of Work such as blade and compact, general road repair, unscheduled equipment transport and equipment rental, clean and re-shape ditches, drainage structure cleaning, drainage structure installation or replacement, mowing, and erosion control. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about March 12, 2018. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The government will award one contract as a result of this Request For Proposal. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Awards Management Database (SAM) at www.sam.gov and be a certified 100% Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.
