Road Maintenance & Equipment Rental Cherokee National Forest North Zone
The Contractor shall provide road maintenance and equipment rental with operator. Such as ditch and culvert cleaning, hand placing riprap, road reconditioning (with & without scarifying), culvert installation , seeding, & gate installation. Also furnish various types of equipment with operator.
Perform road maintenance and equipment rental on an “as-needed”, requirements basis. Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule (multiple year).
The approximate performance for the awarded contract, will be the award date through July 9, 2020. The Government anticipates up to three (3) contracts - Base, Option Year 1 and Option year 2.
Procurement will be a 100% set aside for small business concerns. Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 115310 (Support Activities for Forestry) with a small business size standard of $7.5M.
Please ensure you have or have added this NAICS in System for Award Management (SAM).
The Contractor must be actively registered with no exceptions in SAM to be awarded any resultant contract.
Site Visit - Offerors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to visit the areas in all locations before proposing.
Contract award shall be made on a “Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA)” basis IAW FAR 15.101-2 as supplemented. Award will be made to the Lowest Priced Offeror whose proposal is considered responsive and with an Acceptable Factor I - Technical and Acceptable Factor II - Past Performance Rating.
