Road Construction Package
Tenders are invited for the widening of the Highway from two to four lanes. Following are approximate work items to be completed;
Supply and installation of approximately 1,000m of 200mm to 375mm storm sewer and
associated works.
Supply and installation of approximately 21,500m3 of vesicular basalt - light weight fill.
Supply and installation of approximately 9,000m3 of EPS - light weight fill.
Supply and installation approximately 10,600 tonne of Superpave asphalt, 9,800tonne
base and 19,000m3 of select granular sub-base.
Removal of approximately 15,000 m of pre-load.
Supply and installation of approximately 2500m of barrier curb and 2800m of median
curb and associated works.
Construction of concrete bridge approach slabs and bridge parapet.
