Reverse Auction Service-BPA
The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS) through Region 6 Acquisitions Management requires the services of an enterprise wide electronic commerce web based system for support in executing Reverse Auction solicitations for purchasing supplies and some services from the general public,
agency contractor pools, and off existing contracts such as GSA Schedules, GWACS, etc.
The USDA, USFS and R6 AQM seeks to streamline the acquisition process by taking advantage of innovative e-procurement technologies that will assist in leveraging limited resources, reducing administrative tasks and associated labor costs that would result in costs savings, while ensuring acquisition regulatory compliance,procurement integrity, maintain high levels of competition, obtain reasonable prices, and meet socioeconomic
goals.
