Revenue System Technology for Health Care

The County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide end-to-end
revenue cycle technology and services solution for the Hospital System.
The objective of this engagement is to improve, replace and implement technology in those areas of the revenue cycle that lack the functionality and capacity to meet the demands of Health Care Reform. Areas addressed shall included but not be limited to: managed care contracting and modeling, denials management, account follow-up, underpayment identification, point-of-service collections and insurance verification.
The County is not interested in solutions that are based on replacing or augmenting County Staff supporting the Revenue Cycle operation. It is anticipated that solutions will consider utilizing a Business Process Re-engineering process by leveraging proven software, a contractual relationship that shares the risk and a minimal upfront investment requirement by the County.
