The Bureau of Indian Affairs/Bureau of Indian Education (BIA/BIE) is seeking Parties interested in entering into projects to generate revenue for the Chemawa Indian School.
The Chemawa Indian School is a boarding High School serving between 250 and 375 students in Grades 9 through 12. The School operates 24 hours per day when students are present (usually between Labor Day and mid-May of the following year) and during normal business hours when students are not on campus. The School occupies 420 acres of Federal land and is located at 3700 Chemawa Road, Salem, OR 97305.
Examples of these projects include, but are not limited to:

Interested Parties, including parties who may already have revenue generating projects at the Chemawa Indian School, should submit a letter of interest to the address shown below:

    Letters of Interest are due no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, 20 January 2017.
Letters of interest should include the Partys Name; Address; Point of Contact (POC); POCs telephone number and e-mail address; and a brief description of the project.
A Site Visit to the Chemawa Indian School Campus shall be on Monday 9 January 2017. The site Visit shall begin at 1:00 PM with a presentation and question and answer session in the school Library and end with a tour of the campus area.
Projects shall adhere to all current Federal Laws and Regulations, must not interfere with operations of the School and be appropriate for location on a High School Campus.
Letters of Interest shall be reviewed and solicitation(s) for individual projects shall be released at a later date.
Determinations of interference with School operations and appropriateness of the proposed project is at the sole discretion of BIA/BIE and is not subject to appeal by an interested Party.
