The Tribe solicits proposals for retro-commissioning services for the building energy systems at the Tribe's main office building.
The retro-commissioning process should identify in detail problems related to energy efficiency, occupant omfort, and energy-related building maintenance. Where these problems can be resolved by the contractor
without capital expenditure (e.g. adjusting HVAC dampers, changing setpoints, reprogramming equipment, correctly labeling electrical distribution equipment, mapping HVAC zones), the contractor should take the appropriate actions in consultation with Tribal Planning Department and building maintenance staff. Where capital expenditure is required to address problems, the contractor should specify in detail the appropriate solutions (e.g. repair or replace equipment), along with expected savings and implementation cost, to assist the Tribe in contracting the needed services at a later date. All work performed by the contractor should be carefully documented and the documentation provided to the Tribe.
