Restless Waters & Cape Cove Trail Reconstruction

Amendment 0002 has been posted, which extends the solicitation.

The U.S. Forest Service, Siuslaw National Forest has a requirement for the reconstruction of two trails by placing a new hot asphalt plant mix trail surface, which will provide a new tread surface throughout the work area.

Project work is located within Forest Service (FS) Trails south of Devil's Churn Day Use Recreation Area. There are two FS Trails in this project both paralleling Highway 101 between Devil's Churn Information Center, Cape Cove Beach, and Cape Perpetua Visitor's Center.
 
Work on the FS Trail #1364, known as The Trail of the Restless Waters begins at the south trailhead located off the Devil's Churn day use parking lot and continues south 1200 lineal feet to the viewing area, end of work on this trail.
 
FS Trail #1364.1, known as the Cape Cove Trail begins at the junction intersecting at approximately 850 feet from the FST #1364 trailhead and continues south to the bridge, approximately 820 lineal feet.

The Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.

A payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit (100 percent) will be required after award.
 
Contract period of performance is 01 June 2020 to 31 July 2020.
