Restaurant Space Leasing and Operation at 60 Browns Race (High Falls)
Consistent with the Citys objective to foster development of a mixed use district in the High Falls area, a Request for Proposal (RFP) is being sought for a proprietor for leasing and operation of restaurant space at 60 Browns Race (referred to as the High Falls Centers).
Owned by the City of Rochester, the multi-level, multi use facility currently consists of an interpretive center/museum, art gallery, retail, meeting and event space. The City is looking for an experienced local operator for the restaurant space.
High Falls is located along the Genesee River Gorge, within the Center City District, adjacent to the central business district. The High Falls area encompasses the Browns Race Historic District, and consists of approximately 35 acres. The defining features of the District are the 96-foot Upper Falls and Genesee River Gorge. In addition to the District being listed on the national Register of Historic Places, the area has also been designated as a New York State Urban Cultural Park.
