RESIDENT TELEVISION, INTERNET AND OPTIONAL SERVICE SUPPORT


I. Background.
The Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) is seeking input from business sources for its Resident Television, Internet and Optional Services requirement.
The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) is pleased to announce the upcoming release of a solicitation for Resident Television, Internet and Optional Support Services in support of the Armed Forces Retirement Home Campuses located in Gulfport, MS and Washington, D.C.
As part of our planning efforts for this procurement, WHS/AD is hosting an Industry Day. Vendors who are interested in potential prime or sub-contractor roles are highly encouraged and invited to attend on the following specified date/time.
• What is an Industry Day?
Industry day is a day in which AFRH will inform interested vendors of their intent to solicit information about the procurement and answer prior submitted industry questions. Questions may also be solicited from potential offerors.

Questions will not be accepted after 12:00pm (EST), Thursday, October 18, 2018. NO VERBAL OR FAX QUESTIONS will be accepted. Responses to questions will be answered at Industry Day on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.


THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE
AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) to the ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Requests for solicitation, solicitation inquiries or award inquiries will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary.
This Sources Sought is in support of market research to determine the availability and technical capability exclusively of business concerns to provide this service and the adequacy of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes its clarification of contract requirements, completeness of the draft PWS, examination of performance metric for realism, NAICS code and contract type.
This market survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of business' interest, capabilities and qualifications to compete and perform a firm fixed price service contract that must support both AFRH Gulfport, MS and AFRH Washington, D.C. television programming content and internet services. Request to support only one campus will not be entertained.
II. Instructions:
Interested businesses having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements at both Armed Forces retirement home locations (Gulfport, MS and Washington, D.C.) may email capability statements to: lawan.d.ferguson.civ@mail.mil and kimberly.h.darby.civ@mail.mil.
All capability responses to this Sources Sought shall be submitted by 12:00pm (EST), Friday, October 19, 2018. Responses received after 12:00pm (EST), Friday, October 19, 2018 will not be accepted.
Specifically, WHS/AD would like information and comments on the following:
1. A brief two or three page synopsis of similar work performed in the past. Further, be sure to provide the dollar's value of the experience(s) provided.
2. The adequacy of the information in the Draft PWS and Sources Sought.
3. Validation of applicable NAICS Code for this requirement.

4. Industry partners with whom you could team to meet the requirement.
5. Your interest in bidding on the requirement.
6. Specific examples of prior efforts same/and or similar to Resident Television, Internet and Optional Support Services and provide contract numbers.
7. Zipped files will not be accepted.
8. All responses to this Sources Sought shall be submitted no later than 12:00m (EST), Friday, October 19, 2018 to Lawan Ferguson: lawan.d.ferguson.civ@mail.mil and Kimberly Darby: kimberly.h.darby.civ@mail.mil. Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages using Time New Roman 12 pt. font or equivalent. WHS/AD may have one-on-one sessions (telephonically) with respondents after feedback has been received.
