Request for Quote for a Storage Area Network (SAN)

The scope of this project will include but not be limited to the following:
*Engineer and design a SAN solution for a VMWare virtualized server environment.
*The SAN solution shall be delivered, installed and in production at Douglas County within 45 days of notice of award.
*Configuring the SAN solution must be wizard driven and well documented. The vendor must plan on providing a turn-key SAN solution.
*The SAN will need to be installed, configured and integrated into the County's existing
VMWare V5.1 virtualization environment, including the installation/configuration of all
required SAN/VMWare software.
*Configure primary group storage capacity to alleviate current and near-line storage
issues.
*Configure secondary SAN as replication partner.
*Installation and cabling of the new equipment will occur in standard 42U rack
enclosures provided by Douglas County.
*Provide the requisite documentation of all necessary processes required to setup,
configure, and manage the new equipment (knowledge transfer, training, et al).
