Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for 2010 Transportation Master Plan Update
The City requests interested parties to submit a statement of
qualifications (SOQ) for the above referenced RFQ. This RFQ is the first step of a twostep
consultant selection process: RFQ and Request for Proposal (RFP).
The end result of this contract will be an updated TMP document that guides how
the City’s transportation system will be preserved and developed through the year 2030,
and what specific projects/programs Redmond will focus on in the short term.
Desired Qualifications of Potential Consultants
Demonstrated experience in transportation planning and engineering;
Expertise in sustainable transportation planning and implementation;
Skills in creative and critical thinking;
Skills in effective oral, visual, and written communications;
Diligence in managing the budget, scope, and schedule; and
Expertise in context-sensitive solutions.
