Request for Proposals on the Recession and Economic Mobility

The Project seeks proposals for research on how the recession and nascent recovery have affected the mobility prospects of Americans. In particular, we are interested in research that assesses the recession’s impact on at least one of three key mobility drivers: postsecondary education, personal savings and retirement security and/or neighborhoods. We expect to award up to six contracts of between $35,000 and $80,000 (though higher contact amounts will be considered), and recipients will have six months to conduct original analysis for a policymaker and public audience.
