Request for Proposals for Purchase and Installation of a SAP-Compatible Wireless Warehouse Bar Code System
The City of Los Angeles, Department of Airports (also known as Los Angeles World Airports or LAWA) is seeking proposals for the purchase and installation of a SAP-compatible Wireless Warehouse Bar Code System (WBCS) that communicates and is compatible with LAWAs Financial Management System (FMS) run by SAP. The WBCS must be a SAP-compatible system and provided and installed by a SAP-certified implementation partner with experience in integration with SAP. The WBCS will enable LAWA to standardize and automate existing warehouse management business practices. LAWA envisions implementation of the WBCS solution will assist in more effective accounting of commodity inventories, increase the efficiency of airport warehouse/inventory business processes, and streamline the LAWA supply chain.
