Request for Proposals for Payment Processing Solution
The County is seeking proposals for a hosted payment processing solution for processing electronic payment authorizations and settlements.
This solution should support all major credit cards, debit cards (PIN-based and PIN-less),
e-check, and ACH transactions. Payments for collection and processing of payments can
be via the internet, interactive voice response (IVR), key entry, point-of-sale devices, walkin, payment kiosk, and possibly other interfaces. The county has numerous departments
that take payments and will be working with selected Service Provider to prioritize
implementation within departments over time. Throughout this request for proposal
(“RFP”), the term “Service Provider” refers to qualified firms that submit proposals to
provide the services described. The County anticipates that the service provider contract
will be awarded for an initial term of five years. The County reserves the right to extend
the contract should both parties agree to extension and terms.
