Request for Proposals for Intensive Job Preparation for Dislocated Workers
RochesterWorks, Inc. is soliciting applications from consultants and organizations for an intensive job search preparation pilot program targeted at downsized workers. Proposed programs must meet the following minimal criteria:
1) Format shall be short and intensive in order to jump start the job search process and accelerate re-entry into the workforce.
2) The delivery methodology should be unique and enhance learning and motivation.
3) The program should prepare participants in dealing the possibility of an extended period of unemployment and a more intensive job search process (e.g., financial planning, life skills, etc.)
4) The program should include an extensive self-assessment process and link this process with current labor market information and career opportunities.
