The Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA), a political subdivision, is soliciting proposals for community involvement services for upcoming construction projects. The projects are generally described as the US 281 North Super Street, an operational and safety improvements project, and the US 281 North/Loop 1604 Interchange Project, which includes the construction of four non-toll direct connectors. The Alamo RMA anticipates utilizing, in part, funds allocated through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for these projects, and the related community involvement for the construction projects, and therefore will be required to meet all stipulations that come with those funds.
The request for proposals will be available starting May 18, 2009. Copies may be obtained from the Alamo RMA website at http://www.alamorma.org/, or by contacting the Alamo RMA Office at (210) 495-5256. Periodic updates, addenda, and clarifications will be posted on the Alamo RMA website and interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website accordingly. Final responses must be received in the offices of the Alamo RMA by or before 4:00 p.m. Central Time June 18, 2009, to be eligible for consideration.
Each respondent will be evaluated based on the criteria and process set forth in the RFP.
