Request for Proposals (RFP) For NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES
The CT Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is soliciting responses from qualified and experienced firms who have experience in any of the technologies used to build out a network, including fiber optic cabling. The intent of this RFP is to solicit sealed proposals to establish through competitive negotiation a contract for fiber optic and network cabling services to CRCOG as an agency and to member communities of CRCOG's IT Services Cooperative. CRCOG's IT Services Cooperative consists of members of CRCOG, the Capitol Regional Purchasing Council (CRPC), the Council of Small Towns (COST), and other fee-for-service members. With the opportunity for municipalities to connect to the Nutmeg Network as well as available state grants for that purpose, CRCOG anticipates an increase in demand by municipalities for these services. All terms and conditions negotiated between CRCOG and the vendor for the work in the Scope of Services will apply to all Network Infrastructure Services performed under the final contract.
