Request for Proposal to Convert Focus Reports to WebFocus
The City of Garland is requesting assistance to install WebFOCUS Developer
Studio on designated machines. The selected consulting firm will upgrade up to
117 FOCUS reports to the new WebFOCUS platform. The upgraded reports
may then be generated as needed by the users or be automatically distributed to
customers who will periodically require these reports.
This engagement will be considered as completed when:
1) The consultants have coordinated with the COG technology staff to design
the reporting infrastructure, finalize licensing requirements and when the
WebFOCUS components have been purchased
2) A test and production environment have been created to execute the
converted/upgraded reports,
3) All reports identified as priority by the customers have been successfully
converted, tested, signed-off and are executing in live mode,
4) The core users have been trained how to use the product to generate
and/or to disburse the reports,
5) The City of Garland technical support staff has been trained how to
administer the product.
Note: No functional enhancements or changes to the reports are being
requested. This SOW is for upgrading the existing report to WebFOCUS as
they are currently designed.
