The High Point Partners (Board) seeks an experienced strategic convention facility planning firm to provide a comprehensive feasibility study of the viability of the development of High Point, NC a prominent year-round destination and if the city could support a gathering space such as a civic center, convention and/or multi-purpose event facility or convention hotel. The results of the study should lead to sound conclusions to guide and assist the Board and other area stakeholders in determing what attraction or infrastructure, if any, is needed to realize the vision; "High Point to become a prominent year round destination city." Interested parties are to respond to this RFP no later than 5pm, July 27, 2012. Respondents should submit twelve copies of their proposal, including all specified information.
