Request for Proposal Compensation Study
State TRS is requesting proposals for a compensation study of certain personnel positions at TRS, specifically investment staff and Executive Director. The objective of this Request for Proposal is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms in sufficient detail to permit objective evaluation of all proposals which may result in a contract to provide such services to the TRS.
The services sought by this RFP are presently anticipated as the first phase of compensation studies of all employment positions at TRS. Assuming satisfactory performance, a firm selected as a result of this RFP may be invited to respond to any future compensation study RFPs that TRS may decide to issue. However, selection to perform services contemplated by this RFP does provide any promise, guarantee, or assurance that a selected firm will be awarded any other contracts or be selected for any additional work or be given any special consideration to perform future services for TRS.
A proposer's preparation or submittal of a proposal or subsequent participation in presentations or contract negotiations creates no obligation on the System to award a contract or to pay any associated costs. All proposals and related materials will be retained by the System and will be subject to disclosure as required in accordance with the State's Freedom of Information Act.
