In collaboration with project staff, the following task schedule will be implemented:

• Using standards-based web design tools (clean code – no proprietary mark-up) design a web based interface so that stations and, eventually, the public can explore and use the sample data set. This will involve creating an attractive, user-friendly design and creating links using PHP or a similar open source tool to access a large back-end database (built on mySQL, PostgresSQL, or other open source software) and return results in an easy to use form. Users would need to log in to download data.
• Iterate web design and content presentation as necessary based on testing feedback (allow for three iterations)
• Adopt, adapt or build a simple software interface to enable stations to download InfoVault data in standard file formats for use on their local systems
• Iterate software interface design and content presentation as necessary based on testing feedback
