Request for Information for CNS/ATM
The Mission Planning Mobility Air Forces branch is seeking information regarding the future development and sustainment of the navigation database tool and communication, navigation surveillance air traffic management (CNS ATM) common component (CC). The purpose of this initiative is to learn industry capability to provide and integrate certified CNS ATM product across various mobility platforms, which provides global airspace access for DOD aircraft by providing interoperability with civil CNS ATM systems. The scope includes, at a minimum: the design; development; Type II letter of accreditation (LOA) through an audit by authorized persons (no later than final RFP); successful integration with fielded mission planning systems and aircraft avionics for at least seven mobility aircraft; testing support; and sustainment. The effort includes efforts through an authorized audit. Companies who have familiarity with CNS ATM Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File (DAFIF) Integrity Verification and Validation (V&V) activity are also encouraged to respond.
