Request for Information Concerning Automated Child Support Enforcement IT Systems
The State of Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services issues this RFI to gather information that will help the State decide if an alternate IT solution will be beneficial and prudent for the Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED). The State is interested in products and industry solutions to consider as future technology alternatives for the CSED. If the State determines that an alternate solution is in the best interest for the CSED, this RFI information may be used in the planning process and mapping of a strategic direction for the future CSED automated system. The information may be used in development of a Request for Proposal and to establish realistic system project timeframes and cost projections for potential RFP development. Creative solutions will be compared to the State's current business and constituent needs. Alternate solutions that the State is researching are: conversion of existing functionality from mainframe to web; transfer model for case management and/or financial management; build from scratch; hybrid; and, total system replacement.
