Request for Information (RFI)-Sources Sought for 8(a) Small Business provider of HP service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Registry Foundation

The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, is seeking capable and interested 8(a) small business sources of HP service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Registry Foundation new license and software maintenance. ACC-APG intends to award a 3-year (base + 2 option years) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for this requirement via sole-source 8(a) small business set-aside. The requirement includes annual software licenses for quantity (2) HP SOA registry Foundation per CPU SW E-LTU and quantity (42) HP SOA Registry Foundation 1 User SW E-LTU in the base year and each option year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 541511. The posting date for this RFI is 18 June 2014 and the closing date for responses is 1 July 2014. All responsible and interested sources are requested to submit a price quote and a written statement that the source has confirmed with HP SOA that it is capable of providing for this requirement. The price quote will be used to confirm the sources understand the requirement and the written statement to confirm the source's capability of meeting the requirement.
NOTE: Contract award for this requirement will be made via sole-source 8(a) set-aside. System posting limitations do not permit a set-aside code of 'Sole-Source 8(a)', hence the next nearest description of 'Competitive 8(a)' for this announcement.
