Request for Information: Fire Alarm Maintenance - Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses

C.1 Background: The primary mission of United States Army Garrison, ALC is to provide valuable support services and infrastructure to enable scientific research, development, and well-being of the workforce. ALC serves the Soldier and collaborates with Army science and research by providing excellent lab facilities and support services.
C.1.1 Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC), 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, Maryland 20783.
C.1.2 Security Requirements: Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance prior to commencement of work under this contract, and must be able to maintain a NACI clearance during the performance of the contract. All NACI investigations will be performed at the Government's expense.
C.1.3 Personnel Requirements: The Contractor shall be qualified and experienced in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. At least one technician on the Contractor's staff shall be certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) at Level IV. At least one technician performing the onsite work shall be a NICET LEVEL II as a minimum requirement.
C.2 Objective: During the performance of this contract, the Contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services, necessary to perform fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance to ensure ALC's compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72.
