Amendment No. 1 to Request for Information: Cellular (wireless) service - Wapato Irrigation Project, Wapato, Washington

This Amendment No. 1 to notice DOIAFBO190046 adds the devices currently in use by the government for this requirement and extends the due date for submission of responses to July 3, 2019 at 5 pm ET. The types of wireless devices currently in use are:

Apple iphones
Kyocera DuraPro flip phones

This is not a request for quotes. This is a request for information only to determine procurement method.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO SUBMIT A RESPONSE: Contractors interested in this requirement are encouraged to submit a response to this notice no later than July 3, 2019 at 5 pm ET. Submit your response via email to: Anita.MacAuley@bia.gov with the subject line "Cellular Service WIP 0040425861". Contents of your response shall include: company information (name, address, DUNS & Bradstreet # (DUNS#), years of experience in providing cellular wireless service in the area. PLEASE NOTE: If your company is a reseller of wireless service and you are interested in this requirement, you must provide with your statement of interest the name of the proposed wireless service carrier.

How the government will evaluate information received: The government will evaluate a potential wireless carrier's capability to provide service based on a sampling of specific locations using a smartphone and/or flip phone device. Any carrier providing 0 bars of service at the locations noted below will be removed from consideration for this requirement.

The Government will consider all responses received and submitted by the due date. Responses received will be used to determine procurement method. This is not a Request for Quotes.
