Below are questions received in response to this RFI, and the Government's response to those questions.

RFI Question #003: The RFI states "The primary interest is in weapon concepts approximately 60 lbs. or less total fly-away (munition only) weight with a desired goal of 25 lbs. or less total fly-away weight." Specifically, what types of UAS the Army is looking to outfit with these munitions - are they small tactical UASs such as the MQ-5B, FQ-7B Shadow, or larger UAS such as the MQ-1C? If the Army is interested in outfitting the MQ-1C with these types of munitions, is the RFI intended to free up size, weight, and power requirements to make room for additional payloads (potentially for ISR purposes) given that Hellfire missiles weigh around 100 pounds? If the RFI is intended for smaller UAS, will this armament be sacrificing payload capacity thus substituting ISR for strike capability?

RFI Question #004: What spurred this RFI? What types of Army units or regions are of primary interest for this RFI?

Government Response #003 and #004: The RFI provides a detail description of the requirement, technology and capabilities the Government is seeking to evaluate. Inquiries regarding sensitive information such as specific platforms, Army units and regions will not be addressed in this forum.
