Request for Bid - Website Implementation Using Drupal
The Department of Health Services (DHS) seeks a vendor to work with us on three key deliverables pursuant to migrating the department website from a flat HTML system to Drupal. The first is to evaluate the DHS server environment for hosting Drupal, resulting in recommendations for improvement to ensure the delivered website is fast-loading, reliable and secure. The second is to create a responsive, mobile first and ADA compliant Drupal website that is attractive and functional. The third key deliverable is the migration of static content from what will be the DHS legacy system to the new one in Drupal.
Vendor requirements:
* Created ADA compliant websites
* Created a unique responsive subtheme based on one of the following parent themes in Drupal: AdaptiveTheme, Fusion, Omega, or Zen
* Experience creating a subtheme that uses HTML5 and Sass/Compass technology
* Experience implementing a large enterprise (a dozen or more vocabularies containing as many as a 1,000 or more terms) taxonomy in Drupal
* Experience migrating hand written HTML to Drupal
* Experience authenticating via an Active Directory environment or integrating LDAP
