Request for Art Concept Public Safety Center
The Westminster Public Safety Recognition Foundation is a local City of Westminster
charity that supports and promotes public safety efforts within the community. The
primary focus during the five years of existence of this Foundation has been to recognize
the heroic efforts of Citizens, City employees, visitors or local businesses that have
contributed to public safety in the City of Westminster in a significant way.
This Foundation and the City of Westminster have joined together in an effort to fund
and construct a piece of art that honors and promotes public safety in our community.
This art piece is not intended to be a memorial. As noted in the attached photos, the City
of Westminster has several pieces of art already in place on the City campus which
includes City Hall and the Public Safety Center. While the concept for the new art piece
does not have to mirror the art that is already in place, the new piece should compliment
the existing inventory.
