Request For Proposal for Transportation Services for Head Start/State Preschool Program
The County of San Bernardino Preschool Services Department, hereafter referred to
as the County, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and
firms, hereinafter referred to as Proposers or Contractors, to provide
transportation for children enrolled in Head Start/State Preschool classes throughout
the County of San Bernardino under a fee-for-service agreement for the one year
period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. The County may, but is not obligated
to, extend the awarded contract(s) for two additional one-year periods contingent on
the availability of funds, Contractor performance, and approval from the County
Board of Supervisors. An estimated amount not to exceed $1,735,000 has been
allocated for these services for the period indicated. The number of awards will be
determined by the quality of the proposals received.
