Request For Information for REMIS Sustainment, Development
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) Program Management Office, hereafter "PMO," requests vendor feedback/information for its upcoming REMIS competitive effort for a single contract vehicle to provide System Integration services for the software maintenance, enhancement, sustainment and surveillance of all application components of REMIS.
The scope of this effort shall include planning, developing, testing, deploying, and sustaining depot maintenance IT systems to include new development, modifications, enhancements, upgrades, and PMO support activities.
REMIS documents (Request for Information (RFI), RFI Response Template, and draft Performance Work Statement (PWS)) are provided for prospective offerors' review and comment. The Air Force is transitioning from a traditional waterfall development strategy, adopting an Agile DevOps/Rapid Deployment methodology. Current processes as depicted in the PWS will, of necessity change. It is very important to the PMO that capable vendors offer their suggestions and comments on the PWS. Capable vendors interested in the REMIS effort are encouraged to:
1) Review Attach 1: REMIS RFI,
2) Review Attach 2: REMIS Draft PWS and
3) Prepare and submit your RFI response and PWS comments and questions via the Attach 3: REMIS RFI Response Workbook.
Responses and PWS comments/questions will then be addressed by the Government to enhance and/or clarify the final PWS.
