Request For Information (RFI)-Sources Sought for 8(a) small business provider of General Dynamics (GD) 'GEM X Encryptor Manager' software.
The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, is seeking capable and interested 8(a) small business sources of General Dynamic (GD) 'GEM X Encryptor Manager' software licenses and annual software maintenance/support. ACC-APG intends to award a 3-year (base + 2 option years) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for this requirement via sole-source 8(a) small business set-aside. The requirement includes annual software maintenance/support for quantity 68 'GD GEM X Encryptor Manager' in the base year and each option year, plus an option for 18 new software licenses of 'GD GEM X Encryptor Manager'. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 423430. The posting date for this RFI is 13 June 2014 and the closing date for responses is 7 July 2014. All responsible and interested sources are requested to submit a price quote. The price quote will be used to confirm the source's understanding of the requirement.
