The scope of this project consists of expanding the existing elephant exhibit, which includes demolishing the existing elephant exhibit as well as constructing a new elephant barn and viewing structures with interpretive graphics; installing an elevator; and adding more yard space with themed landscaped surfaces, including specialized work such as animal caging, shotcrete, rock work, ponds, and waterfalls.
