Replacement or Modernization of Escalator System
The Elevator Section is soliciting proposals from qualified Elevator Companies for replacement or modernization of the Escalators. The scope of work is for the complete Code compliant installation of the Escalator systems as described below: Plan and schedule the complete Replacement or Modernization of the described Escalators in accordance with the latest effective issue of the ASME A17.1 2007 Code per TDLR. The Contractor shall be responsible for Code compliance in all phases of construction; This proposal shall include all necessary requirements to meet a turn-key installation including all architectural, structural, fire sprinkler, and electrical components including the associated engineering and design. All items shall be submitted for Owners approval. The Escalator Contractor shall submit a project schedule with projected lead times and expected completion dates for each phase of the project.
