Replacement of a medium voltage cable (20kV) between Transformer Stations Building 8305 and Building 8202, Oberdachstetten, USAG Ansbach, Germany
1. The project includes the replacement of a medium voltage cable (2okV).
2. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
3. The performance period is 180 calendary days, whereby a commencement time of 10 calendar days is included.
4. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 2014 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 30 July 2014. The solicitation will be at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments.
5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria.
6. Work will be performed in Germany and the contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authoriziation to do business in Germany).
7. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
