The Contractor shall provide all technical expertise and all necessary tools, equipment, materials, labor and supervision to remove the existing penstock joint packing material and install new packing material. The work includes replacement of packing for single type expansion joints, double type expansion joints, and articulation joints. The Contractor shall furnish new penstock joint studs, bolts, nuts and the lubricant required for the installation of the new packing.
