Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-14-R-0010: This solicitation will be advertised as an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990(Other Heavy & Civil Engineering Construction). The small business size standard is $33,500,000.00. The solicitation is for a firm fixed priced construction contract to perform site investigation, design, prepare drawings and data, manufacture, shop test, deliver, install, and field test new control systems to replace the existing Siemens static excitation control system equipment. All control boards including the digital voltage regulators, protective relays, and associated components shall be replaced. The Magnitude of Construction is between $500,000 & $1,000,000.
Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing FAR 15. Proposals will be evaluated utilizing the Tradeoff process. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the Army's Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) on or about 6/30/14. It is each offeror's responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
