The work of this project involves replacing a wire rope guard rail along the entire pedestrian walk way on top of the Plymouth Harbor breakwater in Plymouth, Massachusetts (Approximately 4,000 feet). Specific work includes removal and disposal of existing wire rope and fastening hardware, and then installing a new wire rope and associated fastening hardware; in addition, one anchor needs to be replaced for one section of the guard rail, and two voids under a pedestrian bridge need to be filled with crushed stone. The voids under the pedestrian bridge are at the abutments (Bridge Blocks). The Bridge Blocks are comprised of reinforced concrete.
