General Description:
The scope of this project is to provide all design build services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and all other resources necessary for design and construction to replace condensing units at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, in accordance with the requirements of the project. Work includes demolition of existing (5) R-22 air cooled condenser/ racks/and evaporators, and designing, installing new condensing units, defrost timers, and unit cooler evaporators, and piping. Bolt down all new units installed on existing roof curbing or supports, use concrete pads were applicable. Work involves modifying piping systems, electrical systems and steel frames as required. All work shall meet current VA and ASHRAE standards and VA HVAC Design Manual March 2011 edition.
NCO 8 anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide design build services.
The magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00
The solicitation will be issued on or about August 31, 2017.

All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov and VetBiz www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time Phase I proposals are submitted.
