Description
NASA/JSC plans to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Replace Potable Water Phase 1.
The order of magnitude for this procurement is between $1 Million and $5 Million, and the effort shall be completed in 534 calendar days after the notice to proceed.
The NAICs Code and small business size are 237110 and $33.5 Million in revenue, respectively.
The anticipated release date of this IFB is on or about March 9, 2010 with an anticipated offer closing on or about April 19, 2010.
The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the IFB. Specifications and Drawings will be available from the list of sources identified in the IFB.

All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.

The solicitation and documents related to this procurement [with exceptions of the specs and drawings] will be available over the Internet. FAR 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995) Alternate I (Feb 1995) will be included in the IFB. Detailed information regarding the organized site visit will be provided in the IFB.
The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of the IFB. Accordingly, bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
